獣王記
Altered Beast
『Altered Beast』は日本では『獣王記』として知られており、Sega R&D 1のTeam Shinobi メンバーによって開発されたSega System 16のアーケード対戦格闘ゲームである。1988年6月に日本のアーケードで初リリースされ、批評家からも商業的にも成功を収め、Segaの古典的かつ重要なタイトルとして確立された。その後、数多くのホームビデオゲームシステムにポートされている。
Overview
Altered Beast, known in Japan as Juuouki (獣王記, Beast King Chronicle), is a Sega System 16 arcade beat-'em-up game developed by the Team Shinobi members of Sega R&D 1 and manufactured by Sega. First released to Japanese arcades in June 1988 to critical and commercial success, it has established itself as a classic and seminal Sega title, and has subsequently been ported to a number of home video game systems.ギャラリー
