Overview

Dick Tracy (ディックトレイシー) is a Sega Mega Drive and Sega Master System action game developed by Sega Technical Institute. Based on the 1990 film of the same name, Sega gave the mixed Japanese-American team only five months to complete development, with the game being the studio's first project. Despite efforts that included securing likeness approvals from the film’s stars (such as Warren Beatty, Madonna, and Al Pacino), the game would not be released until February 1991, nine months after the film’s theatrical run and three months after the home video release. Unfortunately, the game received generally poor reviews, with weak sales
