『ルナザ・シルバースター』はGame Artsが開発し、1992年にセガ・メガCD向けにリリースされたロールプレイングゲームである。Working Designsによって翻訳され、1993年にアメリカで発売された。本作はCD形式を活用して高音質のオーディオ、フルモーション映像、声優によるナレーションを備えており、魔法の世界を舞台とするファンタジーストーリーが展開される。批評家からの評価と商業的成功の両面で優れており、日本でメガCDの最も売上げたタイトルとなり、16ビット時代を代表するRPGの一つとして今なお認識されている。

Overview

Lunar: The Silver Star (ルナザ・シルバースター) is a role-playing game developed by Game Arts for the Sega Mega-CD and released in 1992. It was translated by Working Designs and released in the United States in 1993. The game makes use of the CD format to feature high quality audio, full-motion video, and voice acting to narrate a fantasy story set in a magical world. It was critically and commercially successful, becoming the best-selling Mega-CD title in Japan, and it is often considered one of the best RPGs of the 16-bit era.
