『オーサムポッサム』は、Tengenが1993年にセガ・メガドライブ向けにリリースしたプラットフォームゲームである。Sonic the Hedgehogおよび『Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind』に強く影響を受けた本作は、悪の科学者ドクター・マキーノとその機械軍団を倒すため、ポッサムのアウェサムが活躍する。高速移動アクションとステージ攻略の爽快感が特徴で、ジャンルの定番である敵の回避とジャンプを駆使したプレイとなる。
Overview
Awesome Possum Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt! (オーサムポッサム) is a platform game released by Tengen in 1993 for the Sega Mega Drive video game console. Inspired heavily by Sonic the Hedgehog and possibly Bubsy in: Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, the game features a possum named Awesome who must defeat the evil Dr. Machino and his army of robots.ギャラリー

タイトル画面で、ボタンをC、B、Cの順に押し、続けて左を押しながらB、Cと押す。ここで音が鳴れば成功。すぐにAを押してオプション画面にすると、無敵とステージセレクトの項目が追加されている。
