WWF Royal Rumleは、Sculptured SoftwareとAcclaim Entertainmentが1993年に開発したSega Mega DriveおよびSNES向けのプロレスゲームで、WWFのテレビ番組「Royal Rumble」を題材としている。シリーズ初の6ボタンコントローラー対応作品であり、キャラクターやゲームモードの追加により、前作「WWF Super Wrestlemania」から大幅な改善を遂行した。その後、カートリッジ型ゲーム機向けに『WWF Raw』がリリースされた。

Overview

WWF Royal Rumble (ＷＷＦロイヤルランブル) is a 1993 wrestling game by Sculptured Software and Acclaim Entertainment for the Sega Mega Drive and SNES based on the WWF Royal Rumble television show. It was the first game in the series to support the 6 Button Controller and generally a considerable improvement over its prequel, WWF Super Wrestlemania, due to added characters and gameplay modes. It was followed up by WWF Raw on various cartridge-based systems.
